We’re excited to share that Profisea has joined the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) as a Silver member. Part of the nonprofit Linux Foundation, the CNCF focuses on promoting the adoption of cloud native computing with the ambitious mission to make it ubiquitous. The foundation hosts core components of the global technology infrastructure, bringing together top developers, customers, and vendors and organizing the largest open source developer conferences. The CNCF is a hospitable home for numerous booming open source projects, including Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Envoy.
Becoming a more active member of the cloud native community has long been a priority for our company, so joining the CNCF as a Silver Member is a huge milestone for us. According to the recent State of Cloud Native Development Report developed for CNCF by SlashData, the overall number of cloud native developers has grown in the last 12 months by 0.3 million, to 6.8 million, and we are proud to have our role to play in the cloud transformation.
